STRASBOURG (EMU) – In January 2017, the European Muslim Union (EMU) organized a meeting about the situation of Muslims in Europe. At the invitation of the board, 15 participants from Switzerland, Italy, France, England, Bulgaria and Germany met for the round table. The intention of the meeting was an informative and open exchange between European Muslims – who presented their arguments based on quite different backgrounds and experiences. The social encounter and mutual acquaintance stood – as with all of the EMU meetings – at the centre of the event.
