The year 2003 witnessed an event that was not only significant for the city and country in which it took place, but for all the Muslims of Europe: the inauguration of the Grand Mosque of Granada in Spain, the first mosque to be built by Spanish Muslims after 500 years. The event was applauded all over the Muslim World and was viewed as a symbol of conveying the message of Islam to the people of Europe.
After ten years of activities in various fields like informing the public about Islam and the Muslim way of life, educational activities, local and international conferences like the annual “Islam in Europe” conferences, the Grand Mosque of Granada invited to a 10-year-anniversary celebration. from 27 to 30 June 2013
