The Third International Market Festival on 23rd and 24th August 2008 on the courtyard of the Bosnian-Islamic Cultural Community in Cologne was a successful and well visited event this year.
The concept of Mosque and Market – Muslims in a good neighborhood with their own city quarter, was fully realised. The EMU considers that these markets are important places of meeting and give substance to the concept of the multicultural society. Such markets – with the support of the EMU have already taken place this year in Berlin, Cologne and Granada.
