European Muslims condemn the nihilistic rampage in Nice
STRASBOURG (EMU) – People are gathered on the promenade of Nice. It’s a public holiday. They enjoy the evening air, chat, laugh, take some well-deserved time off from work. Women push their prams. Suddenly the screaming begins; panic; someone is steering a truck randomly through the crowd, aiming to kill, aiming to devastate. Horror spreads. We would ourselves fulfil that same bleak nihilism were we not to feel empathy for the victims.
