On 30 August, on invitation from the Business Club of the Islamic University of Rotterdam (IUR), the Honorary President of the EMU, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Yalçıntaş attended an Iftar evening at the IUR accompanied by the former Turkish minister for industry and trade, Ali Coşkun.
More than 200 people attended the Iftar evening. Prof. Dr. Yalçıntaş who is also the Honorary President of the Board of Trustees of the IUR said in his speech that the IUR is like a fortress of knowledge for the area up to the Baltic Sea.
