For the fifth time in the last ten years the municipality of the Portuguese town of Mértola held the “Islamic Festival” on 21, 22, 23 and 24 May, in cooperation with the Islamic Community in Spain, one of the founding members of the European Muslim Union.
This festival, which takes place every two years represents a wonderful opportunity to make Islam better known and understood to the Portuguese people.
